What? pimple on my booty?

You should be proud of it Jimbo....it is great that you are hitting the water and improving. I tip my hat (swim cap, if I wore one) to you.....

Yeah, I don't wear one of those either. I did finally go out and get a decent pair of speedo trunks. Amazing how much better swimming feels in them. (I didn't go with the itty ibtty ones though. Mine have some short legs on them)

Haaa. Yeah my wife bought them for me with that very stipulation. In fact, she said I couldn't even wear them at our pool behind my own house.:p You know that made me feel all...special.

Great JOB for April!

Well she just has your neighbours best interests at heart.

So yesterday being the start of May....I hit the pool with a new monthly goal....30,000 meters.

Completed 2750 yesterday.... so 9% of goal done...91% more to go.

swam last night 3000 meters

Had the chance to do some speed work, so that kinda felt good, but my stroke fell apart pretty much after the first 50 meters of 100 meter sprints. Slowly but surely it will come back, although I am no sprinter.

so total swam in May 12,600 meters

Percentage complete 42%

Sorry guys. I haven't been swimming much lately. Did 800m on Tuesday. Whoop-de-do. Let me say that you guys are doing some awesome work in the pool. I bow down to you both...

Keep this thread going and maybe we'll get somethin' official going soon.

All the more reason for you to post you swims Fin!! Swiminto is killin me I tell ya!:p

Swam another 1235 meters this morning. Had to cut it short for time.

But that brings me to a total for May of 9921m. This is 66% of my May goal of 15000.

I'm beginning to feel like I could probably gon on for another mile now. When I finish a mile I can hop out of the pool not feeling really tired at all. I may have to do a 2 miler on an off day. It's just the HOUR involved in doing that kind of swim. Pretty much takes me 30 minutes to do a mile.

This is the first time I have EVER swam that kind of distance. Not the norm for me at all. Swiminto inspired me.

Glad your getting back in!!

PS..you don't suck. All those non swimmers suck. boy am I asking for a hazing here or what? Maybe activity will pick up in here if I insult everyone?

Jimbo, 3200 meters Midday, is quite the distance, considering you HAVE NEVER gone that far, how friggin awesome is that? Shamed or inspired..mmm as long as it gets you into the pool, it is all good....

Fin..you do not suck, you are in the pool, when you can get there, that is what counts. As long as you are not on the couch eating chips and diet soda. :p

Yesterday was my day off, so no meterage for me....Will be swimming tonight, will post my meters after that.

Why do I have the feeling you will shame me with your distance when you post it?
