Default New goggles

Just bought me a new set of goggles since I seem to have lost my last pair. A little more expensive, but I was pretty happy with them this morning!

Vanquisher

Performance goggle featuring streamlined look. Low profile thin silicone gaskets. Double silicone headstrap with back buckle. Three adjustable nose pieces. Hypo-allergenic, anti-fog lenses with UV protection. Import.

C'mon, bud, get yourself a speedo! I wear one when I swim. I'm not going to claim that I look good in it.

Nice goggles...how much were they?

They were about $16cad after taxes.

I could get a speedo, but instead I choose to spare the eyes of my fellow swimmers!

Those are what I use. Love 'em. But you have to spit in them. That's just the rules, I didn't write them!

My father was an Olympic level swimmer in college in the late 50's. One day (when I was about 16) as he was cleaning up his office he found his old racing suit (much like a speedo). With a sudden surge of vanity he decided to see if they still fit. They did and he was so excited that he walked out into the family room to show everyone. They were red and a bit worn. I thought my mom was going to have a heart attack, she actually yelled at him to go change. I found a quick excuse to leave the room, I have no clue what my sister did. The sight of him in those red speedo-type shorts was reminisent of this:
