Tim Hudson because of all the no decisions he gets. I think he got 14 or some crazy number last year.

I expect that to change this year. Being on the Braves will improve his W total.

My most underrated player is Carlos Guillen, if only because I've got to represent the Tigers. He has been a Top 3 shortstop with the Tigers (with Tejada and Jeter), and I don't think that he has been recognized enough for his constistency.

But everyone knows he's a stud, they just don't hear about him all that much.

Johnny Estrada-surrounded by Chipper, Andruw, Smoltzie, Hudson, etc. Doesn't get a lot of credit but a solid hitter who can come up in the clutch

If you're gunna say Estrada, you have to say Marcus Giles. That guy is the key to the Braves production EVERY year when he's healthy. Can't score when Marcus isn't getting on base...

I was thinking Giles as well, and Furcal too. They set the table for the Jones, Estrada, and LaRoche and Furcal has a cannon for an arm!

Tony Womack. It seems as though every team hes on makes it to the World Series. Coincidence? I think not. (Plus it doesnt hurt that he went to my high school.)

But Tony Womack's not going to the World Series this year unless he gets traded.

I agree with Abreu, although I think Travis Hafner is underrated, too. That dude can swing the stick.

Check out Felipe Lopez's numbers, too. He was a top prospect with the Blue Jays and hasn't done much the past few years, but his OPS is .900 this year. Plus, he's only 25. It's only half a year, but I never hear people talk about him.

I recently read an article on ESPN.com about how Tony Womack is statistically having the worst season for an everyday outfielder in the last 100 years. I'm not saying whether he is or not, just throwing it out there.

Morgan Ensberg -- tops of NL third basemen in HR, RBIs and slugging. And he was the NL Player of the Week recently.

And he's not on the All-Star team.

Ken Griffey is not getting a lot of respect this year. Previously, I would have thought overrated, this year: underappreciated.

Bobby has great #s...

Ken griffey junior is a good call. I remember one year he hit something like 58 home runs, I believe the same year mcgwire and sosa were aiming for 61 and I have yet to hear anyone accuse griffey jr. of being a steroid user. Not the most classy guy, but definately gifted.

morgan ensberg is a good call also.

Griffey is my favorite player. I don't really think he's underrated. I just think his injury issues over the last 4-5 years have allowed other guys to step in and increase in popularity.

At his peak, Griffey was probably as popular as any baseball player of the last 30 years.

I don't mean to change the subject; but I can tell you 2 of the most OVERRATED players in MLB

1. Mark Prior
2. Kerry Wood

Pretty sad, considering I'm a cub fan
(I'll put the bag back over my head now)

I think Hideki Matsui is rather underrated - the only time you really see him make headlines is when he's hitting a game winning double. The guy is 100% quality, the kind of quality the Yankees need more of.

And I also gotta say Aramis Ramirez on the Cubs. Talk about finding a diamond in the rough, to play the hot corner.
