I see the pitchers and catchers from the WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON RED SOX are reporting...

....and I'm also a Phillies fan, but ther eis no way they are going to beat Atlanta. They have done NOTHING this year. I see the Mets and Atlanta dueling for that, but after 13 straight years, I will NEVER count Hotlanta out....

I tell you what Fish, we must root for all the same teams. I got a Big Papi t-shirt and a Phils batting practice cap for Christmas.

Anyway, as far as the NL east, I'm going to say watch out for the Marlins as well. They could be tough.

Nearly every NL east team improved on starting pitching....except the Phillies (though Lieber was a decent signing) and the Nationals??

I'm scared of the Mets, but I'm more worried about Beltran scortching the Braves than Pedro. This will be a good season to see how important pitching is, as the Mets inked Beltran and the Marlins got Delgado. I'll still take Hudson and Smoltzy over those two though.

And if you think Schuerholtz is done, you're crazy. He won't be going into June or July with Mondesi and Jordan in the outfield. Should be fun!

time for picks.

AL League west anaheim
AL central MInnesota
AL east Yanks
wild card Oaklan

NL East Florida
NL Central CArds
NL west Giants
Wild card I wanna say philly but their middle relief sucks. This is tought we have Atlanta,Houston, Chicago, Los angeles.
I think i'll take Atlanta only because of their current history.
