First of all, the game was exciting up until about six seconds left so what else could we ask for. However, I would like to mention something that I said during the play and i'm continuing to question. Is it just me or should the eagles have kicked off with 1:58 left in the game and two timeouts. I will never second guess Andy Reid, he knows more about football than i'll ever know ,but was it just me? I thought they had enough time with two timeouts and a defensive hold to get decent field position.

But, then the Pats would have been more aggressive in trying to get the first down, which would ultimately have run out the clock. Plus, OSK's have about a 12% statistical probability of recovery by the kicking team. It was the right decision. It was the 20 bone-headed, stupid-assed, F-ups he made before that which reflect a badly outcoached fool....

I gotta say I thought the same thing. They had to stop the Pats 3-and-out no matter what, so why chance that great field position (which was the final straw)?

Either way, though, it aws the bad time management that made the onside-kick even a consideration. If they had pushed down the field like everyone was expecting them to, they could've made it a 3-point game with 3-4 minutes left and not worried about it. Oh well!!!

Also, was it just me or did Donovan Mcnabb appear to have a concussion? He looked quite dazed, didn't even strap on his chin strap etc.

I noticed the chin strap thing too. I think he's just one of those players that wears it that way. I thing the dazed and confused look came from the Pat's defense.

The Eagles screwed up their clock management at the end of the first half as well as at the end of the game. Maybe they just didn't experience that kind of situation during the season. Most pro teams though practice hard on, and can run, some semblance of the hurry up offense.

Philadephia should be back in the hunt next year. There division is going to be weak for years to come. Of course New England should be back strong next year as well.

Yeah, there was one hit where he got whacked really hard in the chin. His chinstrap came off, and he was totally out of it afterwards (not that he was all that "in it" beforehand, unfortunately).

There's stories going around that McNabb was sick during the game and especially so towards the end. One report says another player had to call a play because McNabb was incoherent. If those stories are true, sounds like Reid should have had the backup QB in the game.
