Well thank god somebody was actually watching this game this time around. If Tom Brady had gotten another MVP award for this, I would have lost all faith in the NFL. Branch and Dillon made this offense run tonight, and a good half of Brady's passing yards came from his recievers' efforts after catching the ball.
It was very sad to see the Eagles coach allowing that much time tick away at the end. He ruined any chance they had of tying the game. Very badly coached game on his part.
i agree with ya rock on the coaching part. that was pretty inexcusable. but, overall, a great game. i like watching defenses play so this game was a nice combination of both offense and defense.

I agree, A Reid pretty much didn't give histeam a chance with his clock management. TB did have a decent game, but like you said Branch was the reason they won. I feel bad for Eugene Wilson, I hope he has a speedy recovery.
As for the story of the week, I must say that TO had a very good game coming off of a broken ankle after only 8 weeks. I think the Super Bowl jitters got to MCNabb and he couldn't handle it. Oh well, there's always next year Philly!
Overall the game was okay I thought but it was a little sloppy by times. My buddy and I were watching and we were wondering what the hell Reid was doing wasting so much time.
I'm sure he'll be asked about it enough for the next while though
OK game is probably the best description I've heard. I thought it was a weird game. Despite the score being tied for so long, it didn't seem that exciting. NE won, but there didn't seem to be a defining moment where they took control of the game. The Eagles clock managment the last 5 or 6 minutes was just weird. Everyone watching knew they needed to pick up the pace and they just didn't do it. The Pats didn't make any big mistakes and I guess that was the key.
Way too soon to talk about it but it'll be interesting to see what these two teams do in the offseason and next year. I've read where the Pats are in good shape with the salary cap. Don't know about the Eagles. I suspect both teams will be back amongst the elite again next year.
