Am I the only one in the United States outside of philadelphia who thinks the eagles stand a chance at winning this sunday? I mean c'mon. listen to the media. Why should the eagles even show up? in fact, I do'nt know if they will win, but they actually match up well. The only flaw I see in the eagles defense is stopping the run game, something the patriots do not do very well(run the ball. they have improved with dillon but it's still not a strength). I guess the key match up is the eagle offense vs. the pats defense. Insteresting to say the least. HOw will romeo defense westbrook? special teams are dead even with both teams having great field goal kickers, punters, and crazy guys.
my last thought, no matter who wins play a great game please. no more super bore. but, LIke always i'm taking the underdog. good luck philadelphia. my only worry is if they win, they light the city on fire. and the statue of william penn might fall and break ......

I've run into two people that like the Eagles. One here in Arkansas and one in Texas. Both were drooling out the corners of their mouths and one referred to his Mother as his cousin.

Actually both are big football fans and I hold their opinions in high regard. I made a little wager with one and may do so with the other as well. I can't get past what New England has done their last two games. Against Indianapolis they held the league's best offense to 3 points. Granted the conditions were not good for the Colts. Against Pittsburgh they scored 41 points on the league's best defense (one TD running back an interception). I think Philly's defensive backfield is stronger that Pittsburgh's. I agree the key matchup is probably the Eagle offense vs. the Pat defense. I'd even refine that a bit and say the key for Philly is Donavan McNabb. If he has a good game, the Eagles are in it. If not... I hope McNabb's tanked up on that Chunky soup.

I think the Eagles stand a chance, because Mcnabb has different options to go to. He doesn't have just 1 receiver, or RB. He can go anywhere. The Pats are good though. I just hope its a close game.

I'm favoring the Pats but IMO you really can't count out the Eagles. They've been playing un-believible for a while now, the ass raping of Micheal Vick was very ammusing to me

IMO it's going to be a blowout...wouldn't lay down money on either side but SOMEBODY is gonna be embarrassed.

I just talked to my brother who is predicting a huge New England blowout. Given my bro's past history, this is the best predicter I know of a tight Philly victory.

Won't be long now.
