I cannot beleive you get suspended for a MAXIMUM of 10 games for your first offense. Suspension for A YEAR after your...FOURTH offense????

And, asking MLB and the Union to police themselves is like giving the keys to the kitchen to a wolf and asking it to look after things....

I think that the penalty is a step in the right direction. Although, there should be mandatory monthly/quarterly testing after testing positive.

There is no comparison to the NFL's policy. In the NFL, the 1st suspension is for 4 games (the MLB equivalent to 40 games). I think that if the 1st suspension was for 25+ games, it would send a much stronger message.

A few week there is someone in a professional football teams locker room randomly testing people. I think baseball should definatley do the same. So many players are on them and everybody knows it.
