Okay, well, we made it through one week, now let’s see how we do on week 2. Here’s the line up for round 2 of the NFL playoffs. Remember, you have to decide on all three of the categories. The categories again are:

ATS-who will win against the spread
Pick-who will win flat out, not including the spread
O/U-over/under-whether the score will be over or under the number listed

Each game will be listed in this order:

*Caps = Home team
*First team listed is favorite
*First set of numbers is the point spread - how much the favorite needs to win by if picked ATS (against the Spread)
*Second Set of numbers is the over under. Both teams score added together.
*Then the team that is the underdog is listed last

Here’s the link to the official rules:

http://forums.jpfitness.com/noncgi/u.../t/001122.html

Remember, entries have to be time stamped in this thread no later than 1:00 AM eastern standard time on Saturday to qualify. The results will be posted on Monday.

Good Luck all!

PITTSBURGH 9 ½ 36 ½ New York Jets

ATLANTA 7 49 ½ St. Louis

PHILADELPHIA 10 49 ½ Minnesota

NEW ENGLAND 3 51 ½ Indianapolis

i gotta say, a couple of these games i've been flip-floping back and forth on all week, especially that new england indy game. it's just a matter of whether manning's fire is going to keep going or if it's gonna get burned out. as for philly minny, just don't have the faith in philly w/o TO.

Okay. Shot in the dark, round 2 .

PITTSBURGH 9 ½ 36 ½ New York Jets
Straight up: Pittsburgh
ATS: Pittsburgh
O/U: Over
A 9 ½ point spread? That seems pretty excessive. Still, Burress being in the lineup, along with two healthy bruising backs, make that spread doable.

ATLANTA 7 49 ½ St. Louis
Straight up: St. Louis
ATS: St. Louis
O/U: Under
St. Louis is going to pull off the upset here. They're playing pretty decent football right now, and I think they'll surprise some people.

PHILADELPHIA 10 49 ½ Minnesota
Straight up: Philadelphia
ATS: Minnesota
O/U: Over
Philly will win, but 10 points? Come on. They haven't played a meaningful game in a month. They'll win, but no chance they'll cover the spread.

NEW ENGLAND 3 51 ½ Indianapolis
Straight up: New England
ATS: New England
O/U: Under
Peyton doesn't play particularly well against NE. With NE at home, and with the extra week off, Indy loses this one.

That's my two cents. Good luck to all.

*sniff* since the packers are out I guess these are my new picks (i don't know anything about ATS O/U etc.):

New York Jets over the Steelers
St. Louis over Atlanta
Eagles over the Vikings
Pats over the Colts

just my guesses and I'm not the best when it comes to football but oh well! HAPPY FOOTBALL guys.
