John Macenroe? John Macenroe was the biggest baby, spoiled, bratiest, most talented tennis player around yet we embrace a guy like him and Terrell Owens. doesn't make sense to me

Any publicity is good publicity, and Terrell Owens gets plenty of it. I'm willing to bet that he'll have TV offers once his career is done as well, but he won't need to work another day in his life once he retires from football.

I have a friend who runs an outfit which sells sports memorabilia, i.e. signed jerseys, cards, etc. The company has exclusive contracts with dozens of pro athletes, including Ownens, Pedro Martinez, and David Ortiz for signed merchandise. My friend says that without question, T.O. is the rudest, most obnoxious, most arrogant, and most unpleasant athlete he's ever dealt with.

Personally I was a fan of his until he went to the Eagles. I found the Dallas star thing hillarious seeing as i dispise Dallas. Then the Sharpie thing was only for fun. Now I just find him plain arrogant. He and every other NFL player should take a lesson from the GREAT Barry Sandeers. He never once spiked a ball or celebrated, and he always gave credit to the other guys on the team and never wanted to be in the spotlight.

With the evolution of the game I guess comes more personal celebrations, but making personal attacks on teammates and other players in the NFL is just plain wrong. I mean who cares if Jeff Garcia is homosexual or not. What his sexual preference is has nothing to do with the fact that the guy can play some ball. And his personal attack on Ray Lewis, about his murder trail -even thought THEY settled it, was just plain wrong and out of line. I think someone needs to put TO in his place. Notice TO said stuff about Ray Ray but not about Ed Reed. Why? Because he knows Ray won't be anywhere near him when he catches a pass, but Reed on the other hand could've come from over the top on any play he wanted...By the way, Reed did put a nice hit on TO that game.

TO also got what was comign to him when the played the Steelers and Ward mocked him...

I like TO. With the exception of the MNF thing with the naked woman, which i thought was tasteless, i think he brings good fun to the game.
