Can anyone beat the "Paige Sports Arena." For those of you that don't follow the University of Missouri, the arena is named for a 22 year old student at USC. Yes, that's right, she doesn't even go to MU. I guess when your parents contribute $30 million to the arena project, you can name it anything you want. I think this is worse than any corporate name out there. I know Adam and Lou went here, so it would be interesting to see what they think of this stupid name.

Our arena was so decrepited that no one wanted their name attached to it....the winnipeg Arean aka the old barn...they converted the feeding troughs to urinals when the ag show found a more up todate venue. but now we have the MTS Centre

good news-"Paige Sports Arena" has been changed because she was failing or did something bad at USC. i'm pretty sure it was renamed Mizzou Arena or something like that

Yeah it was renamed Mizzou. I really don't like that name either, but its better than Paige. Signs and the such around still say Paige, and I think they said it will cost a bunch of money to get the name off of everything. Since the whole thing happened while we were on break, it really wasn't that much of a hot topic around campus. However, I will call it the "Plage" for a long time.
