The Little League World Series. Baseball at it's best. These kids can play. And they're big too. There's a 13 year old who is 6'2", 205 lbs. The rest of the team looks like the lollipop guild next to him.

the local LL plays at the park just behind where I live - all season long, weekday evenings and weekends, with the parking issues and the mean moms/dads who don't understand that "residents only" means only residents can park here and NO ONE should park in the fire lanes and block the driveway.
Then they had the regional tourney here so even more weeks of the nonsense - we had fewer parking confrontations than with the locals but more crowd noise & the loudspeaker announcements and every kid had a nickname "Johnny 'Killer' Obramowitz" ... I am SO DONE with LL I can't tell you.

or I just did.

That was more in reference to the ridiculousness of Little League.

Put the kids on a 300 foot field, put the pitcher's mound back to 54 feet and the bases at 80 feet and let's have some fun. It's like calling putt putt real golf.

You might as well go to 60'6" and 90' at that point. But then only grounders to second will be outs.

How big is the field that your kids play on?

They're the same age and are playing 54-80 on 300 ft fields.

Little League is 46-60. That's just freaking absurd.

Our 9 and 10u dimensions are 46-65. And they've got no problem playing anywhere from 2-1 to 13-9 baseball games.

(I didn't realize that the LL bases were actually shorter than our 9U. That's even worse)
