WTF? How the hell did that happen? Late pit for fuel?
Oh, and unless that was intentional, you mean "Way to fucking go."

I suspect within the next few weeks we'll get the announcement that Dodge is pulling out of racing.

Which I'd imagine would put Penske in Toyotas.
While I don't believe that Dodge would pull out of NASCAR, it doesn't make any sense why they'd just have one team, therefore, getting out may be the best option.

I guess Johnson's check must have cleared this week...
And for the 9 car, I don't think 8th is all that bad for swapping in an obsolete engine.

Went with my boss, as he was doing the standard stewart feature for our site, and I tagged along because, well, I've been obsessed with him for half of my life.
So he comes over after doing his TV stuff and I'm introduced and he starts the interview and I let Jim do the talking while throwing in a couple of questions.
Interview's over, and so I ask Tony "alright Tony, here's the real question: Do you like the new Schlitz?" knowing full well that Schlitz is his favorite beer because he's talked about getting shitfaced on Schlitz after race wins.
His eyes light up and he start talking about how he hates the "new" (which is the old) Schlitz and how he's hoarded the "old" Schlitz because they're not making it anymore.
So yes, I could have asked my favorite driver/sports personality/obsession of half my life any question, and we talk for two minutes about beer.
Which is either awesome or terrible. I lean towards the former. Jim's got the tape of it, I'll transcribe it tomorrow.

I think the tall one. Anne-Marie Rhodes. She was outside the Sprint trailer (the one near pit road exit) just before practice.
I found a sign that said she'd be doing a fan appearance tomorrow morning near the main entrance. There's your chance.
