Holy crap, it took Plax shooting himself in the leg for Yahoo! to take him off the no-cut list, even though he hasn't shown up since the second game of the year. Needless to say, I dropped him the second that news came across the wire.

I have him on another team that's a keeper league no less. What a busted pick. I should have kept Gennings. Live and learn.

For Burress, it began inside a New York nightclub late last Friday night when - believe it or not - he accidentaly shot himself through the thigh with a semi-automatic pistol.
According to published reports, Burress was carrying the unlicensed weapon for protection. The gun went off after it began slipping down the inside of his sweatpants, and Burress fumbled while trying to reach it.
Burress, apparently embarrassed about being caught wearing sweatpants in a nightclub, tried to cover the incident up.
A bleeding Burress then reportedly tried to cover it all up, frantically passing the pistol off to teammate Antonio Pierce and enlisting club employees not to alert authorities before checking into New York Presbyterian hospital under an assumed name at 2:45 a.m.
And so Plaxico Burress has learned a lesson we can all learn from: Don’t wear sweatpants to a nightclub. You’ll look like a douchebag,

the gun was a double action glock 40 or something like that

apparently you need at least 10 lbs of trigger pressure to fire that sonofabitch

which means that it's almost impossible to "accidentally" shoot it

The Rose Bowl looks like a good match up - Bill, is it #33 I'm to keep an eye on?

I wonder why Penn waited until the start of the 4th quarter to give #33 his first carry (yes, I watched and I noticed - plus the announcers mentioned it)

I just got a free £10 bet credited to my online betting account. You place a bet of £10 or more and they will match your bet. I've chosen to back the Ravans to win the Superbowl at 8/1. (although I'm a Giants fan).

I would have gone with big blue but odds of 7/4 are not tempting enough for what should be a hard to call post season.

Ginger, now that the Browns are finished (but, wait until next season with our new coach!!!), I'm now migrating over to the Steelers. I like Polamalu.

Yay! A lot of my friends are the same way. Still some that are very resistant, but for the most part and staying with the same division and all. TP is fast! I have his jersey.

I have to share this picture.

With the way the playoffs shook out this weekend I think Pittsburg has a real good chance of going the distance.

This coming weekend is going to have two great games. My team laid a big one, but I'll still watch, especially the AFC.

God I hope you are right . It will be a street fight on Sunday though !!! If the O-Line plays like it did against the Chargers the Steelers will be heading to Tampa !

I agree! I am so nervous because it is always, such a physical damn game with the Ravens. And beating a team 3X is not easy.

GL,
Have faith girl ! It actually happens more often than not according to what I heard the other day , out of 18 times where a team has beat another team twice in a season and then met in the playoffs the same team won 11 times out of the 18 . God I hope I didn't JINX them ! ! Harrison & Woodley are going to be all over Flaco !!!
