Yes, this is one of the ones I am looking forward to. Will definitely watch for #33. Too cool!

My boys have a tough game and I am petrified for it. It is going to be a loooooong day until 3:39 gets here and even then, I may be watching through my fingers to ease the pain.

Correct assumtion. Too bad about that. College games are just a different experience. Penn State's stadium seats almost 110,000 people, most pros seat 65,000. It's a more emotional game too, both fans and players just get more involved.

What level are your boys playing? I think that most times sports are harder on moms than the kids. I know one mother who went to every high school wrestling match, but never watched her own son wrestle. She'd go out in the hallway until he was done.

Hope their game went well.

College. I was referring to Notre Dame, LOL. I should have been a little more clear. I can totally see not watching your kid wrestle, I get that.
It wasn't a horrible game, our defense just looked like they gave up in the 4th quarter. It was a painful loss, but not a complete butt kicking and if I compare it to where we were last year, I am satisfied.

What a score on the Penn State game!

It is showing up, right? I can't verify it works from work.

It shows a ref interfering with a running play.

You betcha! It makes me want to be there. I've never been to a home game and I have to make it there.

Hey, congrats for the win last night. We were so happy it ended that way.

It was a great game, if you like defense. My son's friend, #33, was just inches short of getting the winning touchdown. Hopefully, they can get through the last three games ok. I'd be so happy if Dan gets a chance to play for a national championship.

Steelers are a little scary looking today. Damn, the punter just got hurt......who's next?

Pending a breakout game from Reggie Wayne tonight, I'm holding steady at one loss in each of my leagues.

A great day of college football. Pitt beats ND in 4 OTs, sorry Ginger, and Texas Tech beats Texas, tough shit Nick. Penn State moves to #2 while sitting at home.

(that was in jubilation. I was afraid that the screaming and the jumping around would shake the house down)

LOL. Ok, it has only taken me a week to be able to respond. I have been in mourning over the loss and the nail biting that was going on. Although, the men in Black and Gold eased my pain somewhat.

Who does Penn State have this weekend?

Being the ND/Brady Quinn fan that I am, I had to watch him in his first NFL start last night for the Brownies. It was so exciting!

At Iowa, a better team than their record indicates. I'm on the way to Pittsburgh again this weekend. Not for the game, though. My son had ACL surgery this week. He's having a rough week. He just found out that Ike Taylor, #24, lives in the apartment next to his. The Land Rover with the license plate, IKE24, in the parking lot should have been a tipoff.

That should be a good game. Giggling over the license plate. Not to subtle. Sorry about the surgery! Was it a planned surgery? I hope he heals quickly.
