I wonder what's gonna happen to pennington. The jets can't keep them both. That would be pretty unfair to pennington.

If Pennington could throw farther than 20 feet it would help his case, but since that's not going to happen anytime soon...

God, this is sad. He just can't go out on top like, say, Elway. He has to pull a Montana or a Unitas. His stock is going to nosedive.

According to my dad, who lives in cheeseland, the blame lies squarely on the Packers management.

And sorry I can't provide details as I refuse to follow the dealings of the crybabies, primadonnas, greedheads, fatbacks, and drug addled egos that make up alot of pro sports.

Well, unless the story is completely different than what's been presented to the rest of the country; I'm going to have to disagree with your dad.

What other jobs can you retire from and then come back crying for three months later and expect to get it?

As a local I think this whole thing was handled badly by both parties. Neither party used any PR sense. At least all the Packers did was defend the allegations that Farve was making. Farve really comes out looking bad and unless he gets another Suoer Bowl Ring out of this what is he really going to gain. He isn't doing it for the money or he would have taken the 20 mil that the Packers offered him to go back to his tractor. And if he really wanted to play then why the hell retire in the first place. First he says it was his time and he is not being forced out and now he said that the Packer management was not giving him warm and fuzzies. Excuse me but welcome to the real world. I think he comes out looking like a chump instead of a Champ.
