Default Kobe Bryant

Is he making the right choice? Should he get sugery or wait until after the season and USA games? After he dislocated his finger, he should of rested it until it healed to start playing again. Because he didn't, look what happened. It changed from a dislocated pinky to a torn ligament and now requires sugery. Should he keep playing or get sugery and be out 6 weeks and then be perfectly ready for the playoff and also the olympics? I think he's making the wrong choice. The Lakers have Gasol, Odom, Fisher, Farmar, Karl, Sasha and many other good players to take over while he is out.

No kobe for 6 weeks and your gunna tell me the Lakers make it to the playoffs? Not to mention no Bynum. If we start the playoffs today a team with 32 wins isnt making it on the West. Portland at 28 isnt making it. You only have 4 teams in the East that even have 30 wins.

If kobe misses 6 weeks there will be no playoffs for him to come back to. With Bynum comming back and now Fisher and gasol, they have a shot to win this. Kobe is making the right choice, for himself and for his team. Youre lookin at the MVP of the league right now. He sits, theyre done.

I know, but his pinky got injured worse during the last game before the allstar break. It is just going to get worse. I don't want him to end up not being able to play at all and end up sitting out longer and have no choice to get sugery and risk missing the playoff. He can take the chance and keep playing, but he has to be careful.

He's not going to miss the playoffs with a busted pinky. He sits out now, the Lakers don't make the playoffs. He'll play through it. Even if he does get surgery now and comes back in time for the playoffs, how will that affect the Lakers? They'd have to play a different style of basketball without Kobe. First off, would they be able to produce in that new style? And if they do, will Kobe's eventual return throw everyone for a loop? You don't want to be relearning an offense right before the playoffs. He'll play through it and be fine.

It's actually a pretty tough call. I think he's making the right choice, though.

I am sure he has enough doctors around him to help make the right choice.
