So Mark was the fastest in Happy Hour. * crosses fingers *

But, I'm sure that the FOX airheads will be focused on Jeffypoo as usual.

No kidding. They're already talking "worst to first" stories and the race hasn't even happened yet.

The JG/JJ suckfest has started and FOX isn't even on the air yet.

Wow, it's quiet in here. Not one comment about how Shrub dumped Junior and incurred the wrath of "the nation."

The one everyone should be blaming is Hamlin. The little douche knew he had a tire going down. It felt to me like he stayed out on the track waiting for it to blow so he could draw a caution and give his teammate a better chance of winning. Once it blew, instead of getting to the inside and out of everyone's way, in which case the race may have continued, he goes up the track and comes to a dead stop.

Sure I was pissed at Shrub at first, but after I calmed down I realized it wasn't his fault. They were racing hard, Shrub either got loose or Jr. didn't give him enough room. You gotta expect that with 2 laps to go.

Hamlin's stopping was not due to wanting Busch to win. He can stay on the lead lap, and thus get a top 10.

It was self serving; and only coincidental that KB was 2nd and TS was 4th.

I thought you guys might find these pictures from my vacation kind of interesting:

sweet pics!

(was Newman's car there? Obviously they're keeping Harvick's car because it's useless now)

No, this was at the Childress museum in North Carolina. Here's the Bowyer car that finished the 2007 race on it's roof:

Got it; they got the car back and they're displaying it.

Hibachi Clint Bowyer. What a finish.

Jimmie Johnson wrecked and had to go to a backup in today's first practice

Just now, Johnson spun the backup and tore the front splitter off.

Oops.

(Knaus just pushed the camera away from his garage stall)

For a split second I was wondering why they had cars on display in Norway.

TV did show Tony giving him the 'Thumbs up'. Funny how they didn't televise when the other finger was used.

and I am so over Shrub and this 'Wild Thing' crap that the FOX airheads are on.

Kyle Busch = best driver in NASCAR. That's not even debatable right now.

And Sadler is an idiot. Stupid move way too early in the race.

I concur. Lots of people aren't too fond of him, but the kid can drive.

I don't see where I said anything questioning his talent. The complaint was about Fox (specifically DW) and the 'Wild Thing' nickname. Makes me think about Charlie Sheen.....
Only a fool would not recognize that Shrub and his team are on a roll.

Now, about the Smoke-Sadler thing. Sure it was Sadler's bad decision, but being that it was the 3rd lap, you'd think that Tony could have cut him some slack. Just sayin'

No, it wasn't directed at anyone in particular. I, too, think the Rowdy and Wild Thing names are out of control, just like the Digger shit.

Tony had the preferred line; have you never watched a Darlington race.

Well duh, but he also could see Sadler (or at least his spotter should have) down low, knowing that he was going to wash up and become part of some '8-wheel cornering'. Dale Sr. was the master of the 'crossover' move which would have worked perfectly. Have you not seen an old Darlington race?

If I remember correctly, there were cars behind both of them, and Sadler divebombed the corner in an attempt to clear Stewart. Stewart had nowhere to go, and didn't even get a chance to attempt a crossover move, because as soon as Sadler got half a car ahead he slid up the track and crashed into him.

I don't remember seeing that, but it was a shame that you prediction got crushed so early in the race.

Yet had the only car to hang with Kyle Busch at the end. We're looking at all three Gibbs cars in the top 10 if Sadler doesn't make a stupid move.
