Just figured out my little scheduling issue for this year.

Cup Series is on one network, Nationwide on another, highlights and interviews on a third. God this is going to get confusing

At least my driver doesn't pride himself on racing cleanly.

Toyota gets a win today. Just a hunch.

I'm just glad that Jeffie is OK. He said that was the hardest he hit anything and I believe it. Congrats to HMS for building a safe car.

It's hard to believe it was even harder than that hit he took at Pocono a year or two ago. It had to be because he hit that opening. I'm glad he's okay.

Maybe a better driver, but who's WAY more marketable?

Well there you have it. Toyota's first Cup checker.

Now let's see if Tony gets in trouble for dissing Goodyear.

I hope not. The racing was terrible.

Lets see. One guy has had a mediocre car yet still managed 3 top 10's and 2 top fives. He had a DNF when was blindsided at Vegas. Otherwise good finishes with a decent car at best. The other has had the fastest thing on the track for 4 weeks but has only managed to not screw it up and win once. Hmmm which one of those takes more talent?

LOL CC dad. I'll tell you one thing....the assholes at FOX sure had their lips planted on Shrub's ass the whole race. And here we go to Bristol where that little tool won last year. His knees will be wobbly from all the blowjobs from FOX this week.

Kudos to Smoke for having the balls to offer his opinion about a terrible tire on national TV.

Speaking of Bristol, I hope we get a good short track race. I'm tired of the mile and a half parades. Framming and Bamming time!

Umm... mediocre car? Did you just say that Junior had mediocre cars?

That's complete and utter crap. And if it isn't; then we know that Tony Eury Jr. isn't cut out to be a crew chief. There is nothing that has said that Junior has had bad equipment. Think he's doing this in DEI equipment?

And a DNF at Vegas? You mean California?

Junior is a good driver. But Busch is better. If they're in equal cars, Busch beats Junior more than half the time. And hell, you know what, I'd bet that over the course of the season they're in pretty equal cars. There's nothing at this point that says that Hendrick is any better than Gibbs or vice versa.

(and Busch really hasn't screwed up anything. I don't think you can point to any of his actions in the first three races and say that he's lost the race because of something in particular)

1. They have to get off Junior before they can get on Busch.

2. If Bristol is the same as it was in August, there will be no slamming going on.

3. Yes, the tires sucked. Maybe since Junior said something, something will get done. Tony just bitches to bitch sometimes.

Good point. Maybe DW will lose a few pounds running back and forth kissing both their asses.

I'm still holding out that there will be a little slamming.

That was like taking Marisa Miller home and then right as you go upstairs she breaks her leg.

I've only been half paying attention (doing my taxes with the race on in the background). What are you referring to?

Does anyone else thing Fox is WAY too proud of their "gopher" cam? I don't find this camera view particularly exciting.

They don't seem to do as many in-car camera shots as they used to. That's one of my favorite views because you really get a feel for the speed.

Gibbs cars exited pit row 1-2-3 (within 2 feet of each other) but Hamlin had to go in to fix damage that Casey Mears caused when Mears hit him, and then Busch wrecked 3 laps after the restart.

This race was a giant tease. Unbelievable.

Nick +1

I think we can sum up today's race (as far as 'Bristol excitement') as:

(I hope Mark doesn't mind me borrowing his avatar ) People may love the variable banking but not me. As for the FOX bozos, next time Darrell sounds like a fucking frog, send him home and put somebody else on air in his place.

I didn't follow you at first, but that's a great analogy. Gibbs was poised for a great team finish and the wheels fell off the wagon.

Instead, they're kissing Richard C's ass. We should have expected it beng that Chebby has been shut out of Victory Lane until today. Of course, it took Denny having a problem and Hindlick running over Tony for the 1-2-3 finish.

I wasn't aware that Hendick was lending it out to anyone.

Or should that be carbs? Like birthday cake?
