Default I am dissapointed in the way the Packers and the Chargers played today

The defense on both teams did pretty good, but the offense sucked. They had so many chances and the score was low for both games.

Now for the superbowl, we will know who will win and that is the New England Patriots! The team I was hoping that would kick butt today is the Packers and I am very unhappy with their performance. Favre even says that he plays good in real cold weather. Oh well...

It was pretty dismall out there last night. Favre may say he plays good in the cold but when we were in Chicago a few weeks ago with similar temps but more wind the team looked just as bad.

Both offenses were horrible. The Giants tried real hard to lose but the Pack let them off the hook.

I was impressed as anything by Manning and Burress. The defense played well for the G-men too, aside from McQuarter's fumble. Another RW fumble had my heart stopping, but Hixon is officially the man. Way to bounce back from dealing with the Everett incident, to getting cut, to the Super Bowl. Tynes was killing me, but came up (third Tynes a charm, eh?) with the longest FG in opponents history at GB in the postseason (47yds).

Looking forward to the Super Bowl. Manning has played spectacular and I like the 6'5" Burress going up against the 5'9" and 5'10" New England corners. Boss has played well in relief of Shockey and Bradshaw has been incredible. I'd like to see how the Giants RBs match up against New Englands aging (albeit still outstanding) linebacking corps. Giants secondary has been suspect in the past, but has played well the past few weeks, so who knows.

Should be another good game.

I feel bad for the Chargers. They played pretty good ball, but without their red-zone threat (LT) they kept having to settle for field goals.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that the NFL's best running back didn't play. I think given that fact, the SD offense did alright.

I've never liked Eli, but I swear to god I'll buy an Eli Manning shirt if they win.

LT should of played even though his knee was bothering him. It was not broken or anything (just bruised). Kobe Bryant plays even if he has a strain groin or even sick. For that game, LT should of went out there no matter what for the team. LT would have 2 weeks off after the game to heal his knee up. Look at Rivers! I think it was both of his knees that were bothering him and one of his knees been bothering him for the past few games and he has been playing (in worse condition than LT).

"Brusied knee" my ass. It was a strained MCL. He couldn't push off that leg or cut. He was done. There were complaints after the game that the announcers reported it incorrectly as just a "bruised knee".

If he had played he would have been less effective than Michael Turner, and might have ended his career.

This is my thought as well...dont go counting the G-men out, just because NE is undefeated. Giants gave them a run for their money a few weeks back, and if their game is on point, have a good chance of winning.

Go Giants!!!

Oh, so the announcers reported it incorrectly. The announcers should not be doing that.

I have been a Pittsburgh Steeler fan all my life.

Next weekend I will be rooting for the NY Giants to beat the piss out of Marsha and crew.

The game is already over. You're giving the man who makes THE BEST halftime adjustments in football 2 weeks to game plan. Not only that, like you said he's got the film from 3 weeks ago, when the G-Men came close to winning. Expect a VERY prepared Patriots team and a confused looking Coughlin (he always seems to look confused).
