WOW! I ask serious questions on the forum and get one or two responses; I show my squad some well-deserved love and the masses respond! It's all good, though. Hey, Steve, you MUST be a Steeler fan. (Please, just don't say the Bengals.) And Red, well... really I don't have anything to say except, the Chiefs?
Lots of love everyone! Hey, if you're from around here, you're used to this saying --
in case your still confused maybe a lil song will help....
Miami has the Dolphins
the leagues worst football team
they cant move the ball from goal to goal
the enzone they never see
theyre bad in the air
and on the ground
this year just makes me sick
cause when you say miami
....youre talking first draft pick!
cause we're the miami dolphins
miami dolphins, miami dolphins #32!

There's always next season.
I wouldn't be talking Browns-boy. One season of non-suckage does not mean you get to gloat.

Steve, I have the freaking Heat symbol -- ball on fire -- tatted on my left arm (my first tat which I got when I was 18, and I'll be 32 in a week). Also, I love D. Wade. Heck, if it wasn't for LbJ, I would've loved to see the Cavs pick him up. With that said, I'm no Heat fan. I just love hoop (played in college) and have a thing for fire (I'm slightly deranged). All this said, just cause you live there, doesn't mean you have to support the team. BUT I'm proud you support possibly the worst team in one NFL season.
Hopefully, Parcells will bring you back. BTW -- your best player, Jason Taylor, went to school in my hometown, Akron. I hope the best for your boys.
Ninja, I wasn't gloating about one season. If you read the beginning of the thread, I just wanted to show my boys some love. I didn't think so many people would respond, BUT GUESS WHAT -- I LOVE IT!
(Side Note: I'm in the process of having the Heat tat covered up with a sleeve.)
I'll put some internet pride on the line and say, the seasons of 3-13 & 6-10 are gone -- at least for a little while -- in Browns Town.
Oh, and Steve -- Ted Ginn, a Cleveland boy, c'mon! Even though, I'm sure you're wondering why they passed on Quinn. He might be an untested rookie, but he could've gotten y'all another W by sheer heart alone.
(I can't wait for the responses now.) Whatup, fellas? : )

Reason: Unfinished.

I lived in Kansas City and went to every home game (including preseason) from 1989 to 1998. This year was the first time in 18 years that I didn't get to Arrowhead for at least one game.
They suck right now but they'll always be my favorite.

See, Red -- I respect that. Rep your squad, whether they suck or they're great. My Brownies, c'mon, we haven't been a real threat since Kosar was at the helm. Damn! And BTW -- the Chiefs have Big Herm and LJ, so they'll turn it around.
OH and BTW -- Steve (I'm not hating on you, just forgot something before), the Browns traded this year's pick for last year's #22 pick. This year, the Browns would've picked #22. There isn't a QB even half as solid as Quinn in this year's draft, not to mention, at #22. Good deal!
Good night, all! Gotta early morning cardio session, then some heavy-bag work.
im actually a huge ted ginn fan and im glad they passed on quinn. he did NOTHING in college to show me he can play big time ball, he played for an overrated team with an overrated offense and the only reason he didnt do anyting in the combine but bench press was to hide that he was highly overrated. I hope for the browns sake they dont get rid of anderson to start that clown.
See, Steve -- I knew we could see eye-to-eye. I feel most of what you said about Brady, but I've gotten to see if play -- if that's what you call his limited time -- some pro-ball. He's not too bad. Hell, he's leap years ahead of Charlie Frye! Plus, most teams would envy being in our position. A QB who has (now) won on the pro-level (and subsequently made it to the Pro Bowl as an alternate), and a young gun sitting in the wings to keep the vet playing hard. I like our chances.
And I like Ginn, too. With a top 10 pick, no! Not to mention, he better man-up and start playing through adversity 'cause Parcells expects it, i.e. Terry Glenn.
i agree with ginn at the pick in retrospect. The texans said they would of grabbed him 10th so regaurdless of his draft status by miami he would of been top 10. The kid has 2 90+ yard kickoff returns nulled by holding calls(one of which the nfl later apologized on a wrong call) and on punt td. He also had 2 receiving tds. he finished 9 in recpetions by rookies, 6th out of WRs. Was 7th in rookie yardage, 6th again by WRs. Granted he didnt even see the bal till about 5-6 games into the season. Ginn will be solid. The real question is why they got rid or chambers and wes. the three of them would of been an awesome combo.
