Turn the ball over 4 times, take 6 sacks (largely his own fault for hesitating), and whatever you do, try and run it before throwing it. Even if you move at the speed of oatmeal.
I'll credit him for a solid second half, but taking the sacks instead of getting rid of the ball was deadly.
Anyway, Jacksonville is obviously the better team anyway, and we caught a BIG break on the "pass interference" call to go ahead 29-28. Oh well. It's only Tomlin's first year. Better things ahead.
PS: I think Tomlin is actually the actor Omar Epps. Has anyone ever seen them in the same place? Didn't think so.
Does that explain the 2-point conversion attempt from the 12 yard line?
I missed the interview. That's too bad.
Yes, Garrard had a crappy game. But that's what I mean... Garrard off his game, the defense kicking in, scoring even without Parker... he still found a way to muff it. Big credit to the Jags D-line too for absolutely eliminating the middle of the field.
Everyone had left the field, the sideline reporter was interviewing Garrard with Jones-Drew waiting to go next. Ben's in the background, waiting, waiting. And I'm thinking 'are they going to interview the losing QB?' He waits patiently until Garrard is done and then congratulates him, hugs him, and talks to him and then heads to his locker room.

Classy and patient. Al Michaels commented on it.
Well that's good to hear. If I can take away anything from the season, I guess it's a little pride in that.
Considering they went 8-8 last year and didn't make it into the playoffs not to mention a new head coach, offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, and I don't know how many minor coaches I think the Steelers did a damn good job.
They won their division and played a tough game in the playoffs. With some offensive line fixing the Steelers will be at the top of the AFC once again.

Amen to that. I knew the Jags had our number this year, but we will be back, and in top form the next year or two. We should win Div. again next year and possibly more. We need to put a great draft class together.
Jones-Drew is a freaking handful. I'd take him over Bush right now, and probably for a few years to come. That guy is impossible to tackle cuz he's like 5'1" 250. He's a fast little bowling ball. He is a force.

He and Fred make a great one two combo...the Steelers missed Parker...but the lose means longer offseason to get ready and healthy for next year.

Usually I'd agree with that statement. But in Ben's case, especially during this game, it was in large part his own fault. He just seems to loathe throwing the ball away when there's nothing available. The desire to "make a play" every time was his downfall.
