Arrington made the sickest one handed grab I have EVER seen.

yeah I was on edge all freaking game, and FINALLY Lloyd pulled out a bowl win in an offensive shootout. Everybody talked about Michigan's lack of speed, but fully healthy they looked pretty fast to me.
Arrington made a hell of a catch, but we cannot forget to mention the throw. . . . what a f'in throw man! What an offense Michigan will have under Rodriguez, can't wait for the '08 season.
How come Carr didn't coach like that the rest of the season, or in past bowl games? It looked like a completely different offense.
yeah that is one thing that baffles me. I'd have to say that Henne/Hart were banged up all year so maybe that was a factor, but who knows. For past years I'm just scratching my head to think that the talent/potential is there but is being restricted by conservative play calling. Me and my buddy who have gone to the games the last three years could practically call the plays, that won't be the case next year I don't think.
Anyway thanks for everything Lloyd. . . I didn't appreciate everything you did until this last game. Hopefully RR can continue the success you brought to the University of Michigan.
slim - I'm really looking forward to what Rodriquez potentially can do with Mallet. Should be pretty fun. Plus you know Blue always pulls receivers and RB's out of our asses.
I envy you getting to go to the Big House. One day I'll make it up that way...... one day. I'll probably get teared up.
Was happy to see one Big 10 team put to rest this crap that the conference is too slow to hang with other conferences. They're saying the same thing about OSU and while I don't care for them in our conference games nor particularly like their coach, I hope they shove it down the throats of LSU tomorrow.

What is funny about the whole "Big 10 can't hang with SEC" garbage is that the Big 10 (or maybe just Michigan, too lazy to check right now, I just know that it is 14-12) actually has a winning record against SEC teams in Bowl Games. Also keep in mind that the bowl games are basically road games for the Big 10 teams seeing as how they are all played around the southern US.

Mallet left school yesterday.
It might be a <gasp> rebuilding year for UM next year.
It has now become clear that not only will Michigan lose seniors Hart, Henne and Long but the Wolverines will also be without their top two wideouts and their quarterback of the future. Both Adrian Arrington and Mario Manningham will forego their final year of elligiblity to pursue the fruits of the NFL, while Freshman Quarterback of the Future will seek a transfer to a school looking to run an NFL type system as opposed to the Rod spread. With the mass exodus that has begun at the Big House Terrell Pryor has quickly become less of a luxury and more of necessity for the Wolverines.
When it was initially noted that Pryor had put Michigan back on his list of options I thought that it was cool but not really necessary given the talent on the team. If Pryor did not go to Michigan the Wolverines would have to make due with Ryan Mallett slinging passes around the field to Manningham, Arrington and handing the ball off to Great White Hope. Now only a week after New Years Pryor no longer has become a 'cool' possibility and rather transitioned to a must. If Michigan does not land Pryor than the 2008 season will most likely be a rough one for Rodriguez.
With Pryor, Michigan could have a potential deadly youthful backfield. There will most likely be some growing pains early in the season but there would be vast potential. Without Pryor, Rodriguez will be left scrambling to find a talented quarterback to lead the Wolverines through the season. Right now, Coach Rodriguez pretty much has all his eggs in Terrell Pryor's basket.

Mallet is leaving. Just heard this today. Great. I hadn't heard or read anything about Pryor. I hope he does sign.
Who is that guy in the link "the great white hope"? What's his name?

Darn, I was hoping to see Mallett run the spread offense!
I have no idea who that guy is...I guess one of their incoming RB recruits?

Yeah it sucks Mallett left even though he looked clueless at times. I wish he would have given RR's offense at least a chance.
Yeah the "Great White Hope" that is referred to is RB Sam McGuffie. . . YouTube this guy he's made some ridiculous plays in high school. He won't do that at UM, but he's definitely got potential.

I've heard that name before. Looks like he'll fit in just fine in the new offense.
Unfortunately, my beloved MSU Spartans have yet to evolve on the football field!

One mans trash is another mans treasure. Us Arkansans all say thanks for the QB. Maybe we'll meet in a bowl and he'll have a chance to play his old team. I don't know why RR wouldn't want a 5 star QB with the arm of a cannon and some game experience returning as a SOPHMORE! Oh well, the Razorbacks thank him! Welcome to the UofA Ryan!

Haven't been around in a while but RR actually wanted Mallett to stay; it was Mallett's decision to transfer saying that he didn't think that a spread offense would translate well into his professional potential. Mallett seemingly wanted to be in a "pocket passer"/pro style system that will prepare him for the pro's.
Go ahead and have him Razorback fans, he may turn out to be good, but he looked absolutely clueless at times last year. I went to almost all the home games for UM last year and I begged and pleaded for Henne to come in every time Mallett was on the field.
I've got a sneaking suspicion that Pryor ends up at Penn State. Kinda sucks because he would have been a stud in RR's offense. . . just as long as he doesn't go the Ohio State.
