Anyone notice that the Colts are manhandling the same Ravens team that New England barely beat last week? How bout this for stirring the pot?

Interesting, but it doesn't always work that way. The Patriots blasted the Chargers in Week 2 while the Chargers beat the Colts a few weeks later. Sometimes it's just match-ups.
A couple years ago, the big thing was:
a) Patriots always beat Colts
b) Colts always bean Broncos
c) Broncos always beat Patriots
The Colts are a very good to great team, no doubt, especially when healthy, but I wouldn't take much from how each team played the Ravens.

Well, the Ravens blew their load last week. They had gotten all jacked up to play the big, bad undefeated Pats. Then they had their hearts torn out, and I think their spirit with it. Facing another great team immediately after was just too much for them.
That said, the Colts are finding their stride again. I hope Harrison comes back and they have a repeat of last year's down-to-the-wire playoff game vs. the Pats. That'd be fun to watch.
Brady is unbelievable at QB. I remember reading a piece on how the guy is truly a 'master' of his position because he not only studies what he needs to do if, for example, there is a weakside blitz, he studies what he needs to do if there is a weakside blitz AND the his back slips during protection and falls AND his hot receiver doesn't run the route correctly. So, he's pretty much ready for anything. TB supposedly works longer and harder in the film room than any QB in the league. Watching him play last night, the Steelers threw everything and the kitchen sink against him and he seemed to always find the right receiver to pick up at least 6 to 7 yards.
Watching him play QB this year was like watching Gretzky skate and score - you know you're watching a master artist doing what he does. Yesterday the thought crossed my mind that if the Pats win the Super Bowl this year (and especially if they to unbeaten), he will likely have surpassed Joe Montana as the best (or, I should say, most efficient) QB ever to play in the NFL in most people's minds.

Kaiser, have I ever told you how I greatly respect and agree with your opinions (at least in this instance).
I wasn't really talking about Sorgi. Manning is legendary for his film study and attention to detail.
Regarding Brady at U of M, he was their most successful/productive QB. The problem was that Drew Henson was the golden child. So, they split time. I think if Brady would have been the full-time QB his senior year, he would have probably been a 1st day pick... maybe even 1st round.

I'll be sending you the 2008 version of the "Tom Brady GQ Calendar and Wall-Size Poster Set" for Christmas. Your 2007 version is all crusty.
The only athlete I've ever been THAT enamored with was Michael Jordan during the first three title runs. And don't you DARE compare Brady to Jordan. That would just be assanine.
