let's all say a prayer that tomorrow Dusty Baker will be fired, and they get a compitent manager.

McPhail's out. Dusty's gone. But it doesn't matter. They could have a great team and be on their way to the Series and someone like Bartmans would show up to help them continue the longest championship drought in all of professional sports.

"And when the little bears from the windy city hold high the pennant, lo then surely the Second Coming is nigh."

as much as i hate to say it, it wasn't bartman's fault they lost that game. whether is was that the marlins were too good, or that the cubs just suck, having that big of a lead, and then losing it is inexcusable. It's the classic cubs though... it seems like with relievers, they can never come down to closing out a simple game.
