Tore a tendon in his LEFT calf. Son of a bitch! Seems like just the Mets luck to dominate all season and then when playoffs come, our ace goes down.

Let's hope the big bats come out and pull us through this.

I think this definately makes the Dodgers the favorite in the NL... if they even get in.

Pedro hasn't had it since the All-Star break. I'm feeling partial to the Dodgers, being that they now are home to 4 players from my other teams (Braves #1, and Red Sox because I hate the Yankees) in Furcal, Betemit, Maddux, and Nomar. Raffie was my favorite Brave, Betemit was my up and coming new fav, I grew up idolizing Maddux, and Nomar was Nomar. Oh well, I'd like to see the Mets win just to shut up all the Yankee fans. I hate Yankee fans

Pedro has missed over two and a half months this year due to injuries and the Mets did fine. They will be OK.
