Default Great sports weekend for me!
  • Twins take 3 out of 4 from Cleveland. (And Detroit doesn't sweep the God-awful Orioles.)
  • Vikings somehow pull it out in OT against the Panthers.
  • Gordon takes third in the first race in the chase.
And on a personal note, I set a PR for a 10 mile race.

The G-men salvaged my crappy weekend. My HS team loses its QB and S at halftime and we end up losing to the best team in the conference by 3. We were up 26-8 at the end of the 1st quarter and 26-24 at the half. Notre Dame gets spanked and deservingly drops to #12. Thank God for the Giants

Also:
  • My school (GVSU) won on Saturday, improving to 3-0. They should remain ranked number in D-II coaches poll. It was their 16th consecutive win.
  • The A's swept the White Sux so the Twins are up by 4 games in the wild card.
  • I could be a homer and brag how MSU and UM won, but I honestly don't care about either team.
