If you are already eating a healthy diet, you probably won't need to make significant changes (assuming you aren't on a low carb diet). I always eat breakfast before running (usually oatmeal or Natural Peanut Butter and Banana on Whole Wheat Toast), but different people have different tolerances for amount and type of food. Alot of runners eat cereal, bagels, breakfast bars, etc. before runs to get some quick carb fuel.
As long as you are eating a generally balanced diet with a good supply of vegetables, fruits, lean meat and fish, nuts/seeds, whole grains and lowfat dairy, I wouldn't worry about changings things up too much to support running.
