Well, the pics from the Detroit Marathon are up at Runphoto.com. Here's a link to my pics. I think they turned out pretty good. As some of you may already know, I'm the guy with the shaved head and white t-shirt. Before you ask... Yes, I was posing in some of those shots.

I ran the 1/2, and another JP Forum memeber, Rod, ran the full marathon.
Rod- feel free to link to your pics here, too.

Thanks, Dave! I tried to get my cousin to smile for the camera too, but he wasn't having it.
This was my 2nd 1/2 marathon. I actually ran one in the spring, too- the Flying Pig in Cincinatti. There's a pretty detailed thread about that somewhere in this forum, too- if you're interested.
I was feeling really good at the end. My right Achilles was really sore the last few miles, so I tried not to push it too hard. I think that ended up costing me from reaching my goal. The race ended in Ford Field, home of my Detroit Lions... The rush of running out onto the field, with the crowd cheering, gave me plenty of juice to sprint to the finish!

I'm going to have to go after the "long" run next spring. I'm on a program but I'm not sure if I'm going to do the half or full. Great job guys.

Rod-
It's not letting me pull it up. You may have to link to your bib number, instead of an individual picture.

Rod, I still can't view your photos. The link doesn't work for me in either Firefox or Internet Explorer. jruck37's album loads with no problems, so I don't know what the deal is...

Thanks for the compliments everyone! It was an awesome time.
I still couldn't get Rod's link, so I searched the race results for a Rod from New York...
