What you get:
Watch
Heart Rate Strap
Pedometer
Nike training software
USB wireless hub
Watch:
Lite, not incredibly bulky. I had a Nike Triax before, and this is practicly the same size\weight. It's only a little bit chunkier. You could easily wear this as an everyday watch, esp if you're a larger person.
Watch features an easy to read display. Functions include time, cron (with auto lap memory), 6 alarms, 2 time zones, workouts (more on this later). During workout you can see your heart rate (if zone training it has a display to easily see to raise or lower)\time\pace. Battery life is...for freaking ever...it's a normal watch. The only BAD thing is that you can't see this information all at once.
Heart Rate Strap:
Not too much to say with this...it's like all the other chest straps in the world. It's comfortible to the point that I forget it's there.
Pedometer:
About the size of a pack of bubblegum and weighs just about the same. You put this on your shoe. It's light enough that you don't notice it. Calibrating it is easy enough. You do an auto calibrate and then a manual adjustment (which I haven't done). Without the manual check it appears that it gives me aprox 20 free ft for every 800m...which isn't too bad IMO. For those that need something more exact...I'm not sure if the manual calibration would corrct, although I'm sure it'd be even more accurate.
Now the fun part, hub an software:
Everything included uses bluetooth wireless technology so it talks to each other all the time it's turned on (including the computer)without fail.
The software is everything you could ask for in training software and works very well with the watch.
You start of with your calender
Which you use to view and set up your training plans using a very intuitive workout builder.
Once your workouts are build you sync wirelessly with the watch which will download all of your "favorite" workouts and 10 days worth of planned workouts to your watch.
When you're geared up and ready to start your workout scroll to the "workout" function on the watch and press "start". BLAM! You're ready to go, it uses the date feature to have the days workout waiting on you with no scrolling or un-necissary pressing of buttons.
After the workout you sync with the pc again:
And this will tell you all of your pertinent information (saving it to your calender of course).
Over time you compair simular runs:

Everything is super easy and takes the guess work out. All watch settings can be done on the PC, so even a dummy could use it. All in all I'm very pleased.
