McMillan Running Calculator

This website has an interesting calculator where you plug in a race or best time on a particular distance and it gives you predicted equivalents for races and workouts of other distances. It also gives you recommendations for pace zones to shoot for on a wide array of workouts from sprint intervals to tempo runs, stamina runs, endurance runs, etc.

The rest of the website is really informative as well - lots of good reading.

I meant to say also that I find this calculator almost freaky for its accuracy in my case. If I plug in my best 10K time, it's almost right on the nose, within a few seconds, for my best 5K.

That's what I found so cool about this I plugged in my time from a 1/2 marathon that I ran in April, and the mile time that it calculated was almost exactly what my fastest mile is. This will make it easier to set goals in training and correlate my times to those goals.
