Why don't you want your legs strong?

No big deal, strong legs are a good thing. I can just about promise that your legs aren't going to get too big from running. Thats just one of those girl phobias. I have never heard of a girl getting too strong from running. Do you have any idea how long it took me to get my legs big and strong heavy deadlifting and squating?! Its not something that will come quickly. I would guess what you are noticing is just in your head. In reality you probably are looking better already and you should add some squats and deadlifts to really add to the package.

Distance runners rarely have "big" legs. Sprinters usually have larger legs for more explosive power. If you watch Marathon runners they tend to have well defined but thin legs.

A half hour of running/jogging and a half hour of walking doesn't create "big" legs it just makes you feel better.

On the other hand, if that is your only workout and you have decided that you can eat more because of it then yes you could be gaining weight in your legs but it's from not working out enough. I hope that makes sense.

I gotta say that I think girls' legs are much more attractive with a little definition to them. I can tell the ones who run, normally, and their legs look great to me!
