Default Trail Racing Resources

Any runners still checking in here?

I'm starting to consider doing an trail race or two this year but I'm having trouble finding local races. Any online resources I can look at? Help?

FYI: I'm in Southern Maine if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Yeah! I answered my own question:

Trail Runner: 2008 Race Calendar Trail Runner

if anyone knows of others it'd still be helpful...

Thanks for finding that... there was a trail running series in Northern Virginia (extremely expensive, though) and now I want to find some here in San Diego. There are a couple awesome parks here for good trail running.

Active.com is my least favorite race site, but they have a good calendar. Google Maine Running, I bet there are some sites out there - like this:

2007 Maine Road Race Schedule
(It says road, but there are a few trail runs on there)

And Runner's World has good calendars too.

Googling for the state you want along with the phrase "trail race" will help, as will these sites:

Events & Races | Running Calendar
Trail Runner: 2008 Race Calendar Trail Runner
Miscellaneous Ultras
