Bathroom Breaks
Ok i have been having this problem for a little while now, when ever i run either outside or on th treadmill I have to go to the bathroom. Sometimes even twice!!! What could be the cause of this???? It is very frustrating. Does anyone else experience this?? Its so bad that I have to plan bathroom stops on the run.

I don't think it's that strange. I always try to go a couple times right before any run over a couple miles.
Pee, stretch, put on your shoes, Pee again...
Off topic- is Barrett your 1st name? It's my middle name- haven't seen it too often.

Nerves, excitement, ect. When I'm trying a new route, or even going to a class for the first time i feel that way, but I don't really need to go. It usually subsides once I start though. Not sure if its the same thing or not though.

I know exactly what you are talking about! For a while I was planning my routes around various stops.
I don't know if you like coffee, but if I am planning a long run on the weekend, I will usually drink several cups, which clears out everything, then run.

From some reading that I have done your dilemma is pretty common. I generally run an hour after my morning constitutional and that seems to work for the most part. As for races I try to eat 3 hours before and hope for the best. The whole clinched cheek run for the finish line and the porta johns can be an ugly sight.
