I know this might sound cruel butI think I might say it anyway, no offence to any runner and the runner who died. I commemerate anyone who runs/trains for a marathon but it is a tough thing to do( i can speak from experince). But I think some people are coming into a marathon undertrained!! I have seen programs that have said you can train for 3 days an run a marathon. Training for any race especailly a marathon takes alot of dedication. I ran 93 miles for my highest mileage during my training for my marathon and I still struggled. I am sorry for ranting but a marathon is not a thing that anyone can do, you need time and dedication, which many people dont have. But I truely feel for the runner and his family, my condolenses(sorry for the spelling) go out to the family. Just remeber the first person to run a marathon died,Phidippides!! Running 26.2 miles is a extreme condition on your body, it is not suppost to be doing. Sorry for the RANT.
