Default Adidas Climacools

I love these shoes. Got a pair about 3 years ago when I first saw them. They've changed quite a bit since then. I like the pair that I have now even better.

The problem is, I can't find them anywhere. After looking for the last couple months, I found a pair yesterday. 3 pairs to be precise, but they were all carrying a price tag of $80 or more. All the pairs I've had in the past I've found for under $50. I'm hoping to continue with the trend.

I've checked all the shoe stores within about 20 miles of where I live (Nashville area). I've poked around online, but the one place I found a pair was sold out. Does anyone know a place to pick up a pair of these for a reasonable price. They don't have to be the latest and greatest version.

Also, does anyone know of any similar shoes? I can tell a significant comfort difference when wearing the climacools and other name brand running shoes without the ventilation. I'm willing to try another kind, but don't want to go back to the 'hot foot' shoes that I got in the past.

RoadRunnerSports.com has a pair. On the full listing of all Adidas shoes (3rd column, 4th row), they claim a price of $59.99, but after clicking on the shoe, it lists for $76.49. Might be worth calling customer service to see if you can take advantage of the discrepancy (if this is actually the shoe you want).

Thanks Phaedrus. I checked that site but it says they are out of stock for that shoe.
