Default Sahara Challenge

I know this is not a biking forum, but as there are many triathelites here, and others involved in raising for chairy i thought i would post my story.

My grandmother died earlier this year due to Alziemers, my father and I are doing a 520Km bike ride carrying everything we need to survive, ie: food, tent, sleeping bags, water (in sahara ). The start of the bike ride is a 2000m ascent up the High Atlas Mountains.

I just thought i would share this with the people on this forum, as i got such a good response with my frist thread, thank you all very much.

Thanks very much!!

It will take 5 days of biking, 2 days of traveling.

I am not a biker, nor is my Dad, so this realy is going to be a solid challenge.

I think £2000 is a bit steep, and we only have until October to raise all of that. My Dad remain's faithfull on the fundraising.

The website allows anyone from any country to send money, its realy simple and all it is, is 2 minutes of your time typing.

If anyone feels like donating, every penny would go a long way, thank you very much for just looking at this page, and spreading the awareness of Alzeimers.

Seb

(Thanks very much again)
