April 28 - 6.9 miles

April 30 - 6.93 miles
-------------------
179.3/185 = 96.92%

I want to apologize to the team. I missed my goal. Honestly, I'm surprised I came as close as I did after the pure hell this month was. Not trying to find excuses, I just normally meet what I set out to do and get very disappointed when I fall short. I escaped Michigan for a few days after finals. I visited an old friend in Minnesota and now am in Milwaukee to visit family. I ended up missing my last 20 miler- I hope that doesn't affect me too negatively. This is not how I wanted to go into the last month of training. At least now the stress should be less.

Twins,

We are all amazed at your persistence with your working towards your training goals with what you have had to go through this month. The fact that you were able to get so close (when it was a massive distance to start with), is testament to your strong will and determination. It sounds like you have some objectivity about it. I would have been unduly impressed if you had run far with a 'perfect' month, but getting to within less-than-one-run's worth this month is quite remarkable.

Well guys and gals, it was a great challenge this month. Everyone did fantastic! Team 1 made it all the way to Little Rock and had a bit of extra juice in their legs for a victory lap around the city. Unfortunately, the Team 2 bus had to pick them up just outside of Little Rock and take them to JP's for some food and massage.

Great job everyone, can't wait for May!
