Okay, make your choices. You can vote for multiple races. And everyone can see how you voted.

I went with St. Louis, Louisville and LR.

If it were to be LR, I'd probably only do the half. I don't especially care for the St. Louis dates, but really like the Louisville location. And, hell Indy isn't totally out of the picture either. Here we go again...

So, my main choice would be to do Louisville. It's the closest to me and I would do the full.

I am committed to the half in Little Rock. That leaves me plenty of time to be ready for a half in one of the others. No full mary's yet.

I voted for Louisville, St. Louis, and Little Rock. My first choice is Louisville, since I think that's the location most central to the majority who have mentioned interest.

Jim, would you drive all the way to Little Rock?? If you can find a cheap flight to Birmingham or Memphis, I could pick you up. That's true for anyone whose most affordable travel plans bring them to either city. I know there are issues with Little Rock and expensive flights.

I voted for Indy simply because I'm already registered. I can likely do any of them besides Little Rock (it's before I graduate from my current school). Preferentially, a Sunday race (that way I can travel from work on Friday night/Sat morning and get settled before race day, and spend Sunday afternoon traveling back).

You can vote for more than one. You should probably vote for Louisville for sure, since that's the closest to DC!!!

Louisville for the Half falls one week earlier than the Half I was origianlly planning to attempt. Indy would be the exact week I was looking at so either one would work for me.

I voted for St. Louis simply because that is the closest one to me. I'm not sure I could make it, with Steamboat being a few weeks later, but we shall see.

Is St. Louis close enough to offset the free lodging you have available in LR? The ODpeople house is OPEN

Little Rock does have that really cool pedestrian bridge over the river, too!! I bet the marathon course is a good one.

So it's looking like it's going to come down to LR and Louisville. An advantage of LR is that there are several people who live there who would join in. And of course it's JPF headquarters!!!

The disadvantage is that LR is not convenient for several of the diehard runners if they want to drive, whereas Louisville is more centrally located (in general... I know it's not for Eric!).

March 7th is actually not that far away - less than four months!! We probably need to start talking in terms of who is really going to do this and show up and which location is best for that. I'm good for either place - about the same driving distance for me.

In case anyone is reading and is concerned about the race distances, both LR annd Louisville have relay team options, so presumably you could run as little as just a few miles and still participate.

One ironic thing about the LR Marathon is that JP's retreat would probably be just a few weeks later!! So if you planned to go to the retreat, it would be two trips to LR pretty close together.

I'm in for LR. Like I said earlier, it's during spring break (the first weekend) so that would not be an issue. I don't know if I'll be marathon ready by then, I've been worried about trying to get in the high milegae during the winter around here. But I'm definitely up for the half.

I may have trouble with those Winter high miles as well. Our annual average snowfall of one inch can really ruin the whole season. Not to mention those average daytime highs in the 50's. I'll be a mess by March!!!

I was semi-planning to run a 50K the weekend before Little Rock. So, if I do run that and we decide to go to LR, I may run the Half as well. Or I may just drop the 50K and run the full. I imagine I'll know after my first 50K in January whether I ever want to run one again! If we go to Louisville, I'll likely run the full. However, I'm also willing to help fill out a relay team if needed.

Hey KMWEST -- can you make it to either LR or Louisville???

Not LR. I don't graduate from my current school until March 15, so a race on March 4 that far from Quantico is a no-go.

Maybe Louisville. I'd have to fly Friday night after work in prep for a Saturday race. Unfortunately there are few Sunday morning halfs.

Aww crap, I thought the Charlotte half-marathon was on April 28th when it's actually on the 14th. Can I get another ballot? These butterfly layouts confuse me

I re-vote Little Rock (long shot), Indy (eh, maybe), and Louisville (most likely of the three).

I think I'd still be running that 50K by the time LR rolled around.
As of now, I'd run the Louisville full.
