i have broken my 8 week slump, lol i know it was a long one but i finaly broke my 2:15.

800m- 2:12 not where i should be but its good news because i have been running 2:15's ALL year so theres still hope for me too drop down too 2:05 before state.

Congratulations, so you can go to state with a 2:05 where you are in Kansas?

Wichita , 6A. and im not sure if that will get me to state for the open because i know theres alot of guys running or are capable of sub 2:00 and 2 of them happen to be on my team. but if i can get a 2:05 i'll be on the 4x8 which has 2 guys under 2:00 and the rest is 2:05- 2:06, not too mention we have 2 subs ( not mentioning me) who can run or have ran 2:07

Not bad, currently on my 4 x 800 team we have the following people listed with their pr's for this season so far:

2:00.10
2:06
2:06
2:07

Tomorrow is our True Team Section meet, and the four of us should be getting around this:

1:59
2:03
2:04
2:04

That should get us pretty darn close to state, with about a month to perfect it so that we can all be right around 2:01 or sub 2...

Hopefully we make it, I will let you know how the meet goes. GL

You just run too far Dave - it takes all day that way.

Great job, Jokerz. We are cheering for you to get to 2:05.

thanks , we did 200 repeats today and i was 30-31 for all 10 of them so im hoping that next week we'll step that up too 400's so i can shoot for 60-61 and if i can get that i should be in god shape for the following week, which is state.

Peace- thats a good team, i remember last year we had one of the best teams in the nation , broke the 4x8 kansas record. and let me know how you did, Fridays our city meet so ill let you guys know how i did at it.

Well, I think I am getting the flu, and feel like crap...

Here are the results for the true team section meet for our 4 x 800 team:

Leg 1: 2:03.5
Leg 2: 2:09.0
Leg 3: 2:07.0
Leg 4: 2:03.5

Even though two of us ran like crap, I was the 2:07 kiddie, we still got our pr for this season at 8:23 not too bad, but we need to step it up... Next track meet is in about 2 weeks, Confrence, hopefully we can be at 8:15 or less! << very attainable.
