Question Sunglasses?

I know this sounds like something more suitable for the MH forum (shudder), but does anybody have recommendations for good sunglasses for running? (Inexpensive, as well.) This summer, I plan on running a fair amount during the early morning and late evening, trying to avoid the heat. However, this also means that the sun is pretty low during my runs. This is especially bothersome during races.

I wear Smith sunglasses, they fit perfectly on my head and don't move around. You can get them cheap online at places like backcountryoutlet.com

I wear regular glasses and don't want to do the contact thing so I wear Bolles with prescription inserts. I've been wearing them for about 5 years now through all kinds of adventure sports and they have been great. When I finally wore the rubber off them I was able to order new glasses for about $60 and then resuse my inserts. They go everywhere with me.

I always wore my oakley zero's on my mtb. One day I got to thinking that it was kinda silly wearing sunglasses in the woods. I then took them off.

an hour later while blasting down a loose rock desent at near top speed, a fly decided to head right into my eye. I didn't stop gracefully.

Since then I bought some yellow tint oakley halfjackets. They are kinda high, but the lenses can snap in and out. I like them because they are open at the bottom, so sweat will kinda run off them and not setup in the frame.

My Bolle's have interchangeable lenses so I can even use them at night. That way I don't carry two sets of glasses during an adventure race.

I have a pair along the lines of these and really like them. They've lasted 2-3 years now, no scratches or breaks and I'm rough on'em. IMO a decent pair of sunglasses is right on the "must have" list. Whatever you get make sure they're light and have wide noseguards. you don't want them bouncing around and digging into your nose!

I have the most excellent sunglasses for running and biking.

They have wide-coverage, brownish lenses, so they're good for lower light and bright light. They're flyweight but sturdy, so I carry them around on top of my head all the time.
I got my first pair at a marathon expo in Memphis three years ago: $25. Liked them so much I bought backups online.
They're the Falcon model from Precision Sport Eyewear in St. Petersburg Florida.

I've also got some Smith frames with interchangeable lenses. I use the clear lenses for bike-commuting in the dark and the yellow ones for rain days. But the frames aren't so comfortable as my cheap brownish ones. They're great for almost every day.
