Hell Yeah I want some new shoes! WTF? What I NEED are pedals for my MTB so I can fall down with you. Now let's talk about a new pair of light colored pumps just like the ones in my avatar for when I'm not following you down some god forsaken fire road or trail. Or a pretty pari of strappy sandals, or whatever else I feel like sliding my feet into. Maybe I'll get around to trying my new running shoes today. *(&%ING bitches.

Hahaha - LOL. Go back and read some of my very old posts to Sarah that said that they guy she ends up with will be very lucky because there are a lot of guys who like to climb and ride and raft, but not a lot of women who do (and don't look like men ), especially not that do 5 endos in a row to get over a drop, so she was special. And so she is.
I think most guys, especially riders, understand what my situation is.
ODB, she rolled her eyes?? And gave you crap about coming home late from the Womble? Whuzzup with that??

She rolled her eyes because she was hopeing they were for her. She was mad about coming back late from the womble because we didn't take her.
She just got some sweet running shoes. That's kind of like permission for me to get something for my bike, right?

There was no crap. Just worry. I wanted to know you all were safe, and look what happens.

In honor of that honor, more pics of the non-bitches on the Womble.

Blur-ry Womble

blurry Sarah

Me, during yet another impromptu trailside chat with Sarah while Joe and Aaron, far up ahead, wonder where the hell we are.

The forest through the trees... from the top of the moutain.

Now you had to go and do that just before a weekend that I have totally booked with non-mountain biking stuff. You are the Devil!

I got the Hayes hydraulics today. Yeah, BITCHES! Soon I'll be going slower, I mean faster, but today I was in the back alley (common play area because we all have rear loading garages) jamming on the brakes to get the burnished finish off and working on my balance during slow-mo turns. I found out that I am much better at turning right slowly than left. I figured out that this is because I always unclip my right foot when stopping, so I am used to moving slowly while leaning in that direction. Tried to trackstand again and failed, again. If at first one does not succeed..... be like Sarah and keep trying and trying or get hurt and succeed.
I may post pics of my new pimped out ride (I'm considering getting the spinner wheels too), but in the meantime, ODB and silly can just look at bmph8ter's brakes.

You should save the money (and weight) on the spinners. Take some aluminum foil and wrap the spokes instead. You want to basically make a triangle that will cover 2-4 spokes (depends on lacing pattern) and fold it over to secure it. Now you've got you're very own set of 'blades'.
Congrats on the new brakes, hope you like 'em.

After reading Flee's thread on bike and pics, I went back and found this one. It made me sad because my mountain biking has become a distant experience lately and because I miss the day the four of us did the Womble, one of the most fun days I've had on an mtb.
It made me laugh because of the number of times we use the word 'bitches'. And the fact Nick popped in and said it without a clue, prolly just to bump his post-count up.
Pics on page 1 and 4, Flee.

Actually....I know what you look like Kaiser. I have seen a few of your pics. Your team pic comes to mind. But your sleds.......I don't remember. I think you have an NRS for the dirt. Maybe red. But what is your primary wench? Your road ride? I have no recollection. Post up that ho. I want to see her.
I've seen Fisher's new rig. Sweet little Cannondale. Fish...do you off road at all?
And what about the others? Speaking of....where the heck did ODB disappear too?

Just posted our shiz up. K: I'm glad you still carry fond memories of that day. It's exactly the sort of stuff we want to give folks that pass through our lives.

Damn man... I don't want it to be a 'pass', even if I don't get down there like I'd like to. Tried to call your woman the other day when I saw her logged on here, but she didn't pick up and I didn't leave a message.
I got the new brakes on the NRS and then haven't been riding. See, what had happened was...
