I might actually make my goal. When I put in my goal miles this time around I had forgotten all about my son's jr high football, so commuting has been pretty limited due to picking him up after practice and going to his games. I got out for a lunch ride the last two days (my lunch rides last about as long as Flee's, I just manage to cover a small fraction of his distance). Yesterday was kinda windy, today was horrible. Five miles out at just over 10mph average, 25mph average coming back.

Keep up the consistent riding. I'm trying. Always plotting how I might make my goal. It's not looking likely.

The new born has me tired. And my time is more precious than ever. It's good to have the challenge though....it's in the back of my mind and I usually turn the pedals longer because I think about it.

Oh, and it's paying off.

I agree, without the challenge I probably wouldn't have even bothered hauling my bike to work so i could get out at lunch the last two days.

Thanks for a great challenge, I know that since April I've had many more miles than I would have without it. This is the last week of my son's football, so I'm going to continue to commute as weather permits. Looking forward to a new Challenge next spring.
