July 25 - 15 eq spin miles, put on the polka dot jersey and made the spin class do climbs. All class. A TdF simluation. Minus the blood doping.
July Goal: 450 miles
July m-t-d: 415 miles (92% of goal with 81% of the month gone by)
My legs are tired and not recovering as quickly as they should.

Ride Fish, ride! Ride like the wind.
July 26 - 20 miles was all I could get in before the sun set and I was riding in the dark. But it was a good 20 miles - I had a long day at work and was pissed about the Tour stuff and needed to ride to get the stress out and even though I was supposed to do intervals, I decided to try to do a sorta TT on my solo short loop. It worked, because I tied for my highest average HR for a ride this year and I blew away my previous solo average by almost 1 mph. Maybe I'm not getting slow - I seem to respond well to riding hard after not going too hard, but don't seem to ride as fast when I am within 48 hours of a previous hard ride. Going to take 2 days completely off and see if I can go hard on Sunday.
July Goal: 450 miles
July m-t-d: 435 miles (97% of goal with 84% of month gone by)

16.75 miles of awesome rock strewn root filled trail. Decided to ride a trail I have not ridden in a few years. It is known to be one of the harder trails in my area but I forgot just how hard it is. Kind of sore today but I am smiling from ear to ear!!
Total: 47.87 miles

Sorry it took me a bit to get this up. With my wedding coming up, running from Ft. Collins to Steamboat, and working, time has been short! Team 1 squeeks by! The new site took away the ability to post attachments, so go here:

Nice month all, see you at the Ultra Challenge!

Ummm.... you're missing some of my miles. I did 495 of my 450. You have me down for 446. I should have 5 points, not 3, and that puts the teams into a perfect tie on points (with more miles overall %age still going to team 1).
