Kevin, that IS crazy!
C'mon TEAM Lefty! We're already falling behind and SuperSarah© hasn't even kicked it into gear yet.
Me, I gotta go clean off the pound or so of dried worms that I neglected to clean off of my bike after the last ride.

Holy crap Kevin, that is a crazy story. At least you came out alright
But really... can you blame coworkers for taking that injury and coming up with more.... esoteric.... explanations? lol.
I got the same sort of thing when I told people I pulled my groin. I just followed it up with "there was a zebra involved."

Yeah, that would have been a bit sticky for the missus..."Yes officer, my husband really did jump over me in his sleep and hit the back of his head with a blunt instrument."

Kevin, That is one wild story. I don't agree with the others...doesn't sound like you came out ok to me. Thats some serious damage from a vivid dream. Yeah, I guess it's good that you didn't have a heart attack as well, I mean, it was obviously very vivid.
Your buddies coming up with injury causes reminds me of a post I made last year on my local biking forum.
For a couple of weeks after I posted the following picture, I was unable to make my regular group rides. I had actually injured my hip playing ice hockey. Well, of course all my buddies turned this photo into the cause of my disappearance.
IE: Soo...you tore your hamstring? Did you punch yourself in the face? Exactly how do you knee yourself in the face? and why don't you show up so we can all laugh at you.
Greatness really....what are friends for.

Ha ha Fish.
I don't think there's been nearly enough smack talk on this thread (the runners were much better at this). Hmmm...actually if I remember right I did my fair share...and then didn't hit my mileage (sorry, should that be 'kilometreage'?) target.
Maybe I should cop it on the chin and just concentrate on hitting my targets. Nah, bugger that. I might get beaten up by imaginary trucks, but I'm not going to take from any Team One members! Game on!

Flee - is that ball past you? You're trying to kick it? If so, that would be similar to my ball skills.
Maybe a reason I like to run and ride. Left foot. Right foot. Repeat. Yeah, I can handle that.

Game on indeed.
I'm going to get helicoptered in to the top here and just cruise the 50 miles to the bottom....

Fish - I'm sure Team Lefty could start at the bottom and get to the top WAAAYY before Team 2 could coast down to the bottom!

We could use the path or the road but I was figuring it might be a little faster to just go straight up.

Remember, you want them to think they at least have a chance.
