Got me a new ride.
Just brought home a new '06 stumpjumber. It was my 'congratulations, on paying the car off' gift. Shhh. I still have 3 payments.
So, I was needing some help on setting my shocks up. It was a fox triad on the back and a fox float rl 120mm on the front. I've been looking online and can't seem to find any info. Thanks for the help.
Pics coming soon!

Man I had my shocks set up by bmp8ter about a year ago and haven't made any adjustment since. Wish I could help.

Congrats on the bike Ryan.
Each rear shock has a different setup, so maybe Sarah or Aaron will chime in with their incredible knowledge. Mine, which is not standard, had me put in 50 lbs. in the bottom, and my riding weight on the top. But many have you balance the top and bottom chambers with an equal amount of pressure.
For the front, I do the standard 'curb drop' test: set your rebound so that when you ride off of a curb, the front shock compresses enough to your liking, but comes up (rebounds) just once. This is supposed to be done after the rear one is set, I think.

Here is a link for the manual for that bike. Page 12 has shock set up. I'm assuming yours is an FSR.

Thanks for the help, guys. I've got it worked out now.
Had my first ride on it yesterday. Man, am I out of shape. I didn't ride all summer because of the massive heat here in texas. The bike was great, though. Even with my inexperience. Smoooooth, and climbs amazingly well.
I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.

Ooooo... Nice ride. I like that avid disc brakes too.
I rode one of those in Phoenix last Feb, and was very pleased with how well it rode/shifted. I would certainly own one of those.
Nice purchase, Ryan. Now I just need to get my fat ass in shape so I can take you out on a few rides up here in AR. We're renovating your bedroom right now, son. Should be ready in about a month.
