Default New Bike/project

So my co-worker pointed me to an ad for a free road-bike.

I am pretty sure it's not gonna be big enough for me, but I might get lucky. Either way I decided I should get it as it is mostly there and at the very least I could use it as a project bike, something to learn maintenance on and the like.

So I haven't got it yet, hopefully everything is according to plan and I can get it on the weekend...but here are the pics from the ad.

I kind of expect it to be a steel frame and to be way to small for me.

It might be big enough. The seat post is all the way down in the pictures which tells me it was too big for someone. Also, the head tube looks kind of long. You might get lucky here. Get some good pedals and rubber on it, clean it up. Get ready for a tri. Sweet!

He says it's a dept store type. So that part sucks. It def needs a new tube, chain, and brake pads. We shall go from there. See what I end up with.

The top tube is 23.5", that's all I got out of him though. and for free I don't want to be a huge pest.

Awesome OG! It'll be much better to ride something that you've created!
