35 mph? That's crazy! But VERY cool!

My top is 53-11. I can't sustain that gear except on a downhill. With a tailwind. In the draft of a semi-truck. :p

Yeah, I WISH I could come around him and do that. I once tried that on a sprint at 28 mph - I sat on the leaders wheel and pulled out, just like you are supposed to in order to win a sprint. Hah! I slowed down when I hit the air resistance. Like I said, wheel sucker magnifique - lead guy in a paceline, not so good.

Today on a recovery ride with a group, I hit something and got a very fast flat. 2nd of the season when hitting road debris and I went all last season without a single mechanical issue. Oh well; better on a slow paced recovery than a contended sprint section.
