Good Job,

Being a personal trainer is all about feedback. Empathy is the name of the game so get feedback from they by paying close attention to their reactions to your workouts and ask them just as many questions as they ask you if not more.

High reps to tone, low reps to build mass.

You did not just say that

Very nice pulling the clients early on. I remember an old thread that holds some solid tips. My 2 cents:

- Stick with what is necessary to get clients from point A to B ... so go easy on KB snatches for 10 min because an expert said so ( Even though this is exaggerated -- I see this mistake a lot). Just get them to their goal as quickly as possible and I'm sure the "word of mouth marketing" will work out.

- Advertise and get to know every single person that walks into your gym. You want your name as branded as "Lipitor"

- Bootcamping and group training is a good option for a guy like yourself getting some experience under your belt and cash in pocket

- Stay organized and figure out how many potentials it takes for you to land a client... how many clients you need to not starve... how well your referral system is working

I think training is mainly sales and then personal training.

All the best

Yeah bro, and you gotta make sure to hit all the angles of each muscle, to really dig in and tear the fibers.

Unless it's a girl, then they need to stick to high reps so they don't get bulky.

It's in a private personal training gym, so the only people there are the trainers(me, my boss and his wife, and 1 other guy) and their clients. So I'm working off the reputation of his business, and he gives me clients to work with, I'm free to bring my own in too ofcourse.

My boss has given me 4 hours of work a week to start, all small groups. He's a really nice guy, and said he will give me some more clients as soon as he gets some. He's kinda pulled me out of a rut, although he doesn't know that haha

It's been really good so far, I've done 3 shifts now, I'm there regularly every Monday and Thursday night.

Haven't had anyone do KB snatches yet, but I have had them do KB swings which I think are a pretty good one
