Default It's about that time of year for CEC's.

Hey everybody, I have a couple of certifications that I've gotten since I got out of college, one is the ACSM- Health and Fitness Instructor, and the the other is the NSCA-CSCS. I'm finishing putting together my reports to get re-certified for both, and I'll have to spend about 120.00 total for the NSCA CEC's I need to get recertified, since I have a few CEC's already done. Now get this, cost of getting recertified through ACSM- appox 1,200.00, ten times the ammount for the same 4 year period! Is anyone else out there ASCM certfied and can explain the vast difference in cost? I put the math togther and it cost around 17-18.00 per CEC for a ACSM recertification, and I need 80! It runs around 30.00 per NSCA CEC, but all I need is 6. I think someone out there is making bank. Sorry to rant, but this is insane!
